raise fuel pressure or bigger injectors
ive been adding fuel to my fuel table and it seems to not be changing the BLM's very much. im thinking i need to move up to the 65lb injectors or raise my fuel pressure. my fuel pressure is at 11 right now. which should i try first. also i just went to the track and my best time was 14.975 at 92.49 with a 2.180 60ft. this seems slow for my mods, so im guessing its in my chip.

What fuel pump do you have?
BTW, that's one sexy car you've got. I hope to get some nice 17x9 wheels and a paint job. But until then a turbo and a 6 speed will work :-)

stock pump. thanks about the car. i just went to the track and won second place despite my slow times. good thing its bracket racing. u can see the trophy on my link.
Doing the fuel pressure with the ultimate tbi mod is pretty simple, I would give that a shot first.
You never know how the fpr's are set from the factory. I know adjusting my fpr sure makes a difference in volume through the injectors.
I dont kow what DIY means, so you might be running a tpi motor in which case I have no idea what I am talking about so just ignore this if so.

Replace that pump with a walbro 255 ASAP!!!!!
The stock pump is a POS, good for ~240hp if you have HUGE injectors. Any sort of increase in pressure and the pump's supported horsepower number drops! This might be the reason why many have seen "performance" by going to 350 injectors on there 305.
Also get into burning your own eproms and you'll be amazed at how well the car will drive. It's like having a lexus under the hood with the rumble of a muscle car and the milage of a gen2 or 3 small block! Seriously, it's THAT big of a difference.

Just as preventitive maintance I swapped out the pump on my BBC GMC 3/4t, yesterday.
BL's exactly the same, but it's a different truck.
And the Fuel Pressure had tested just fine, but the pump had 90K miles on it.
Different in as it's a whole lot more fun....
