OBD1 LT1 scanning

Have a friend looking to get a cable for his OBD1 LT1 car and i was wondering if the cables on Craig Moates site would work with it.
Also, is there a free LT1 scanning software?

Thanx

craigs cable will work, but his software won't.

Good news, though: TunerPro RT can scan LT1 (and their complex datastream). I don't have a complete datastream definition created for it yet, but I do have it working in a basic form. Just have to spend the time and finish the definition for the 94-95 LT1s. (Unfortunately I don't know anyone around here with a 94/95 LT1 to fully test it out).

Also, the next version of TunerPro will allow you to edit/create your own datastream definition for *any* OBD1 vehicle.

Well, all this guy is looking for right now is simple scanning, codes and such.

Any way I could help out with this? He is interested, maybe make him a "test subject"?

Yeah, he is looking for more than 20 runs of the program though and isn't "into" it enough to warrent spending the $$ for the prog.

If you and your friend can wait just a bit longer (maybe a week?) I can get you a beta to try out with the LT1. I'd like to confirm things are working in that area.

I"ll let you know.
