autoXray scan. will you help me translate info
OK I bought this several months ago to help define trouble codes
Also I see it scans actual functions
Please let me know if all looks Ok and what the normal setting should be. This would be great help for newbies (me)
91 L98 350
MAP 4.82
Oxygen sensor 408mVolts
throttle sensor (is this the TPS setting?) .66
knock retard 0 does this mean the computer is not back off timming
knock sensor 0 does this mean there is not knock detected
total advance showed 32-34 max above 2500RPM
does this mean I can advance initial timming from 6 BTDC to
10 BTDC to get a total timming to 38. Dont SBC like 38 or more?
what else should I look at with the autoXray.
Please help a newbie out, I would love to burn one day but I need your input with this data so I can start to learn the process.

If you are at an Idle, which I assume you are.... then your TPS is set too high. Re adjust it to .54v
Don't know about Maps
02 has to be a live reading or it just picks on to show you when you go back and check data. At normal operating temp, engine running, 02 will jump back and forth with the median average .500mv
If that was your 02 at WOT you are WAY lean it needs to be around the 875mV when you have the car floored.
You want to look at Block Learn (BLMS) see if you are lean (above 128) or rich (below 128)
At the current time you are looking at your Knock Retard, it means it is not currently taking out timing.
Knock Sensor counts the amount of knocks you get. 0 is good.
32-34 degrees max above 2500 rpm... under partial acceleration or wide open? if wide open try a few more degrees. Yes you can turn the distributor to add the timing however, your entire timing table will jump up 4 degrees and you might get knock now in places you didn't before.
Thats why we chip tune, tell if that we want 38degrees total at WOT!
Hope that helps.
