For a known trouble free one, get the Pocket Programmer II. Dig enough and you'll find mixed results with anything else. Thou if your using XP that can be a problem in it's self.

It's a known good one. I've got one, and several people I know of have had good luck. Good price and support too! My advice would be go for it.

Well I finally committed to getting the burner. When I received it, the device was packed very well. Fairly easy to use but I had a problem with burning chips. With help from the seller, I found a broken trace on the circuit board and repaired it with success. The seller was willing to fix it also but I was trying to save on shipping it out. The seller would have paid for return-to-me shipping.

For $61, I got an EPROM burner with a wall transformer for power (shipping included). Support is great and fast.

I use one of those and it works great. You can't beat the price either, I got mine with the cable, CD and wall adatper for 58 bucks shipped! Works great with XP, no problems and the willem site has great info and tips too. Good call.
