differences in TPI between GM and Pontiac ?

I'm considering buying a TPI setup from a 86 Pontiac transam.

Can this setup be used on a Chevrolet engine ? What are the differences (ECM,...)

Is calibration much different ?

Thanks

Yves

There are no differences. Trans Ams came exclusively with Chevy engines since 1982. All Firebirds share their drivetrain components with Camaros, the only diffence being the air intake/filter system due to different hood lines.

wiring

I buy the intire wiring from the car. So I thought I should have no problem, but wanted to make sure

The intention is to fuel inject my 79 vette and try reprogram it.
