Mask advice required!

Hi,
I have a Camaro 305 TPI set-up from 87 with an ABUT8562 broadcast that means that I have a mask $32.
My question is:
Can I use the ECU “6Ev10.ecu” with out problems? (mask $6e)
I know that this will suspend my cold injector (Don’t have a problem with that) but do I need to have more things in consideration?
Original the ABUT8562 is for A/T but I have changed for a manual and I found a very nice bin file that will match my set-up but it got the mask $6e.
Can you please recommend what to do or use?
Thanks in advance.

1987/1988 use $32B while 1989 uses $6E. Both use the '165 ECM though so you should be fine.

From $6E and a 5-speed you could use....

AXKU (Superseded APTX wich superseded ANTP)
L03 engine, 5-speed, 3.08 rear ratio, california emissions

AXKW (Superseded APTY which superseded ANTR)
L03 engine, 5-speed, 3.08 rear ratio, federal emissions

The L03 is the 305 TBI engine. You'll need a bin for a LB9 engine.

RBob.

Whoops sorry about that....

APYS (Superseded ANYR)
LB9, 5-speed, 3.08 rear, federal emissions

APYX (Superseded ANYW)
LB9, 5-speed, 3.08 rear, federal emissions

APYW (Superseded ANYU)
LB9, 5-speed, 3.08 rear, california emissions

I don't know the differences between APYS & APYX.

Hi scorp508 and RBob,

Thanks guy’s for your input this is what I need.
APYS9350 is the file that I was using and it looks pretty good.
More questions:
My car got a 3.31 diff can I find in one of the constants of the “bin” to change the original 3.08 to 3.31 or is it handled via the revolutions of the engine.
My rear tire diameter is 27” I have changed the driven gear at the transmission so that the VSS will give the correct output. Is that all what I need to do? Or do I need to change the parameters of some tables?

According to the advice for newbie’s (like me) it is better to start with changing first the Constants and the Flags and after been comfortable with that, we can jump to the Tables but slowly.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you have changed the gears for the VSS in the transmission you SHOULD be ok.

Hi scorp508,
That’s what I did. Great!
I was looking for the two bin file that you mention (APYX and APYW) but I can’t find it.
Please if you have it can you please e-mail to me?

Unfortunately I don't have either. If I see them I will send them your way.
