APYS3509 help!
Can some of you help me please?
I am in The Netherlands and it is difficult to get information about parts from ACDelco.
My question is:
Do I have had the correct EPROM?
I was looking for the GM EPROM with the broadcast APYS3509 and I found on the web page from GMPCM that this EPROM the part number would be 16133474.
I have ordered this part and when I open the box the EPROM label is an AYPS16133474.
Can you tell me if this is the equivalent of the APYS3509?
The APYS3509 is a 89 EPROM for a 5 speed manual 305ci Camaro with a 3.08 differential ratio.
Thanks in advance.

looks like on contains the BC + PROMID (APYS3509) and the other contains the BC + part number (APYS16133474). Do you have the ability to read both chips and verify that they are the same?

Check the BC name the letters "PY" are changed to "YP" (AYPS) I made the same mistake the first time I look to the EPROM.
In the weekend I will tray to dump the BIN from the EPROM.

Hi Mangus,
I am shore that this EPROM is incorrect. I have tried this weekend and the car doesn’t want to start, I put back my old EPROM and the car start with out problems.
I have take contact with the guy’s of GMPCM and they ensure that this BCC doesn’t exist on the GM database.
These guys’s from GMPCM are very serviceable.
They have advice to arrange with ACDelco and exchange. You know that hire in The Netherlands is very difficult to get access to the ACDelco people as a private person; they always request to go via a distributor.
I hope that this will come to the right end.

Hi Mangus,
I have tried the TunerPro RT and it was nice to see all data in the simulation area. I forgot to make a ALDL dump, does that mean that I get the actual BIN file?
I did to much after the disappointing of the new EPROM and it was so cool weather that I can’t feel my fingers when I was hitting the keyboard of the laptop.

If you're referring to the "ALDL Dump" command that shows up int he quick-send window of the ALDL communication tool, no, that doesn't dump the bin from the chip via ALDL.
Thats the request string that gets sent to the ECM to dump the 8192 baud ALDL data stream packet. At the moment the ALDL stuff only works on 165/730 8192 ECMs. This will change in the near future.
