Pocket Programmer Software

Would anyone be able to send me a copy of the pocket programmer software they use in DOS mode??

I have a eprom programmer that is the same as the pocket programmer just made by a different company but can use the same software as the pocket programmer.

I got software with mine but apprently the AT29C256 chips have to be used in the WINDOWS mode of the program cause the DOS version does not support the Flash EPROM.

I want to use it in DOS mode and was wondering does the PP2 software work with the ATMEL CHIPS in DOS MODE?

I am having some issues burning under Windows and wanted to try in DOS to see if it solves them.

Anyone can help out?

Buy a Pocket Programmer.
Buying something cheaper and then using the other's software doesn't sound fair, IMO. People need to support the vendors that do the work, and work with **us**. The folks at Xtronics have spent ALOT of time getting their stuff right.

Grumpy,

Well it is made by xtronics in reality but marketed under a different name. Anyway who said anything about it being cheaper??

If it is too much hassle forget about it.

Thanks anyway!

You first said,

Now, your saying it is Xtronics.

If it is Xtronics just ask them for the proper software, or what the the other software costs.

If it is some other co., then let them know what your problem is and if they have a fix.
