There were 8 different pcm/ecms used in 94 on 4.3s, what vin code, and ecm number are you playing with?.

ok, i pulled it apart today and checked the numbers. it appears to be a 849, someone wrote that on there in pin. i did get more numbers off of it though if 849 doesn't sound right to someone else. it has the letters BDYT in about three different places, i assume this is the bin, right? also, what kind of chip would the stock one be? (so i can try to read it on my burner) any info that anyone can offer me would be great! thanks!

The BDYT is the .bin file your running.
It matches one of the listings for the 16168625 PCM.
I'm pretty sure that it's a 27256 type eprom.

All the later ECMs, and all PCMs use the 8192.
The only mask I see for it is the E6.
The only editor I know for that is the one from Tunercat.
