PPII Access Violation with 95
Does anyone know how to cure this problem? When I open PPII it gives me the following message "Access violation at 00 45 CC 23 in module Win_PP2.exe Read at Address 00 AD 00 00." This is a basic window 95 desktop. Dell GX1 233 MHZ. When I click okay it allows me to blank check my chip but gives me the same message when I try to load bin file to burn. I tried to run this on my XP laptop. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, BranZ

AFAIK that means that, for whatever reason, the software cant load tehfile requested. Either its not there, corrupt, or some other problem prevents it from being loaded. Try a different file in another location and see if it can read another .bin .

the application is trying to read a block of memory thats locked or it otherwise doesn't have access to.
Maybe you should try Windows 3.1 (sarcasm). Be sure you have the latest version fo the software for starters. The next avenue is to contact Xtronics.

I emailed xtronics and they let me have the latest software. I installed it and it worked like a champ. It has taken me forever to get chip burning. I appreciate your help on this problem guys. BranZ
