ARAP tuning
while driving and scanning the other day, i noticed the computer pulling out timing for knock retard but no knock was being detected. now, on an ARAP's PE vs. rpm table the scaler starts to go negative values right around where i see knock retard occuring. do the negative values cause timing to be pulled out automatically because of this or am i totally off base. cuz if that was true, then PE fuel would be cut as well. correct? if this is not the case, could someone explain the correlation of these tables and why negative values are being used. because stock 350 bin's use positve values to tune the PE. thanks
