guys i will need your help on this , my car is a 1986 305 tpi transam the mods will be port and polish the 416 heads and install the 1.94 intake valve also i;m going with the comp extreme energy cam ##256 212 -218 449- 456 112lsa , i did put 3.42 gears out back , basically thats all i will do to my car for now ,


what exactly do i need to buy , like programmers, proms, ect and also for now is there a way i can just burn a simular bin that has the same mods done as i will have

check out all those stickies on top. within them are more threads. all the answers. you have a week of reading at your fingertips. i started with winaldl, PP2, eraser, a half dozen eproms, and tunercat on windo 98 laptop. i was pleased with TC
help desk. responded quickly and in detail.

 

Yeah what he said. But at the time I bought all the stuff for prom burning the prominator was not out. Might want to check that out since it seems like a good idea they put together.

 

before i get into this for my 86 305 tpi i will need a programmer PN:1 -PP2 FROM X TRONICS

also i will need some eeproms to burn 2 , what part number is the ones i need to buy , just want to make sure i buy the corect stuff,

i guess i will also need an editer from tuner cat , that i understand a little ,
last question for you guys, i plan on doing these mods in april is there a place where i can copy a bin from another modded 86 305 tpi with the simular mods done , this way it gives me some time to spare ,

i think you just need a stock bin and go from there. who knows what unusual values might be in there.
