I have just started buring my own PROM's and was wondering if anyone could identify the application that a PROM from a MEMCAL that I got off of ebay is for? The broadcast code is ABUN and after reading the chip I know it is from a V8 car. Also will the "limp chips" from this MEMCAL work for a 87 350 TPI w/700R4(1227165 ECM)?

I plan on burning a new PROM and placing it in the MEMCAL.

Any help is appreciated!

ABUN is the MemCal that came in my 1987 Z28 LB9 auto. The ECM was 1227165 for MAF cars.

Thanks for the info. I think that I will be fine using the MEMCAL along with my custom burned PROM. I just wanted to make sure the two "limp home" chips would work.
