winaldl cable to Radio Shack serial adapter/usb to laptop works with winaldl datalogging program. i turned on the ign first then inserted prongs into aldl or would not work. turning ign off and back on would not work on restart. so needed to detach usb, reattach usb to laptop, turn ign on, and then reinsert the prongs into aldl and it worked. very finicky. think a toggle switch on red wire to aldl prong would work so i need not fiddle with reinsert ?????
