Datamaster Question

How do you save, copy or export a snap shot of the screen for use in an e-mail or post. I have seen people here post a screen shot and need to e-mail one to someone.

In Windows, type ALT+PrtScn keys while looking at what you want a picture of. Then, open a paint program and paste it in. Resize it to needed size and save it with whatever image type you intend to use.

upper row of keys just past F12 is the "print screen" key.. sometimes labled "prtscr" or "SysRq"

hit it and it puts a copy of whatever is on the screen on the clipboard.

goto any paint program (such as Startmenu->programs->Accessories->paint) and hit paste. (Ctrl+V)
