i;m new to this chip burning stuff , i recently purchased the equipment from craig moates (awsome guy) i noticed in an article about the 1986 305 tpi prom being bugged , i think the new upgraded prom was # 1228291 does anyone have this file in a bin format so i can modify the corect bin ,

my mods for my 86 is 3.42 gears , cai , porting and polishing the 416 ;s and adding 1.94 intake valves , adding comp cam extreme energy #256

86 - so you're using a 1227165 with $32B code? If so, I think most agree that $6E is better (more robust, maybe) code. No reason for you to not swap to it (you'll need to disable/remove the cold start injector and a few other things including VATS).

Hehe. Sorry, couldn't resist.
