I'm Quitting

After all this time, I've just been so intimidated, and maligned that I think it's time to just unplug the laptops, erase all the discs, CDs, and backup material and say,

Later.

It's just been to aggravating having to try and share the enjoyment, and things I've learned, with trying to understand engine management.

LOL, right after they pry the keys out of my dead lifeless fingers...
I just hope everyone gets as big of kick out this EFI stuff as I do.

If you ever check out, Grumpy, they might just as well shut all the lights off and we can all go home. :hail:

That's a pretty cruel joke!

Grumpy cat survives wild car-top ride

Crickey! 2 Grumpy shocks in one day. I thought you'd really gone over the top for April Fool's day, but then I realised it was a different "Grumpy cat":

10:27 AM April 2

A grumpy house cat was the toast of New Zealand traffic authorities after it survived a hairy ride through a city clinging to the roof of a car, with the driver unaware of the drama.

John Sutton of Tauranga, southeast of Auckland, thought he had chased his seven-kilogram grey Persian, called Bono, from his car before he set off for work this week, the New Zealand Herald reported.

After travelling three blocks at 50 kilometres an hour along a busy city street, he had to slow down.

Something fluffy slid down the windscreen and gripped the wiper blades.

"It gave me a hell of a fright," Mr Sutton said.

"Then I realised it was Bono and he was bloody petrified."

Police Constable Tim Shields was on patrol when he saw the car coming toward him.

"The expression on that cat's face was hilarious," Constable Shields said.

"It was wide-eyed and obviously knew the consequences if it let go."

The cat was returned home inside the car.

Wow that is something that hits home for us domestic animal owners, poor cat, might never be the same.

Back to the point, if Grumpy left it would be an enormous loss to the community.

As a matter of fact there are bunch of folks that all add tremendously to the cause however not only does Grumpy probably hold the most vast and excessive personal database of information that he freely shares but also takes the often unpopular hard line stance that forces the masses to learn what they are doing for themselves and not just pick freebies of a tree.

This forum has no equal:hail:

I have had to other camaros that ran mid 11's That were carbed but now I wanted my TPI camaro to run 11-12's and get good gas milealage and beable to Drive across Country If I wanted.

was on this board when I joined in Dec. 2003about 3 weeks and hadn't been able to Grasp anything form the Idea of DIY Prom and was just about to give up when I came across a couple of threads of yours that not only inspired me to research more but In the short amount of time I have been Here Print every thread that I find usefull and have filled up Two 3-ring Binders of these posts and 3/4 of the post are from you. I Haven't dove in to most of it yet because I would like to be as informed with as much Knowledge of the Facts and what works and dosen't work Before I waste My hard earned money on something that Wont work or if If I would of put a little effort and researched it I would of found out it didn't work or a cheaper/Better way to do it. Another lesson you have taught me is Don't take some ones word on it Prove it Right or wrong and make my own oppinion.

I One day hope To be able to give back to this board at least 1/100 of what you have given it. Dosen't Sound like a lot but That would Be a lot or research in its self.

I just wish I could find a way to understand source code Better.

Too Bad that There isn't a Internet Realy Chat on Source code101.
A sort of interactive Real time Class Room. :hail:

I do believe as many others know that
Grumpy is as invaluable to GM-EFI-DIY/RTFM King as premium fuel is to real cars.
He makes us think instead of being mindless drones. !
Thanks for being U!

Oh man! It's a blast!

Between you, RBob, Traxxion, and some of the other gurus here, I've gleaned an inordinate amount of information. My EFI swap is running phenomenally thanks to you guys.

Thanks guys for offering your experience to all of us.
