conversion help

Ok guys, I'm in need of some help here. This is what I'm doing:

I've got a 1992 Firebird 3.1L V6 automatic donor car that I'm putting in a 350 TPI engine and keeping the SD setup with the 730 ECM. I still need to find a 730 $8d prom that I'll probably end up getting from the dealer. What I'm looking for here is some help on the BIN, I've got stock 350 bin off of a 91 Z28 right now but I'm not sure if that will work well enough to get it running with the mods that I'll be making to the engine. Here's what I'm doing:

block is bored 60 over
forged pistons with moly rings
milodon windage tray and scraper
coyle timing gear set
comp cams XE268H cam 224/230 @ .050 268/280 advertised duration 477/480 lift 110 lobe sep.
ported/polished intakes and heads
3 angle valve job
shorty headers
3" borla SS cat back
24# accel injectors

I've got a cable for the data logging, and will probably be using ecm852 or winaldl, and gcmedit program for modifying the bin afterwards. What I would like is a better starting point for the BIN file. If anyone has one that I can look at, or want to help me modify the stock one enough to make it work till I get some datalogged, I would be eternally gratefull!! I can't wait to get this engine installed and on the street!!

thanks!

AUJP (1991 & 1992) bins were the latest and greatest S/D bins GM had.
You'll need to burn a chip with the injector constant changed from 22 to 24 for those injectors. Also, with 110* lobe sep you are really pushing it, 112-116 is best for F/I.

Ok. I'll look at the lobe sep and see if I can get a 114 instead. thanks for the information! didn't I see somewhere that there was a "super" AUJP bin that was modified for the 305's? Would you happen to have a copy of that one?

thanks!

I just wanted to point out ... for the advanced chip guys out there that this isn't really true. It's old school thinking. Vizard has a lot to say about LSA and how it can really increase power. The main problem through the years was that people thought you couldn't run aggressive LSAs on EFI motors. They thought this because THEY couldn't get it to work. However - that was when people didn't really tune EFI cars and they didn't understand the topics of what it would take to get such a cam to work in an EFI car. That is just not true anymore for those guys who know what they are doing with regard to the ECM. You have to know what you are doing. If you are somewhat advanced at chip programming, then there are large power gains to be had by dropping that LSA down. For those that don't understand how changes in LSA affect power (and vacuum) please read Vizard's camshafts and valvetrain book. This is the last I will say about this for a long time for some otherwise very obvious reasons.

NOTE: If you are a beginner or have only been doing this for a short period of time then don't listen to what I just said because it will cause you serious heartaches in tuning your car. Listen to Morley because that advice is sound!
