Unknown 350 MAF Memcal

I received a memcal with a 1989 350 TPI motor that already had VATS disabled. I wanted to see what other changes were made, but when I try to open the bin in TunerCat, this is what I get.

Can someone please explain what all this means?

Also, the sicker (that no longer sticks) to cover the window on the prom reads, "5E31". It's not the original...it's a white label that looks like it should be a shipping address label. I don't know who did the programming.

The checksum routine has been disabled, by an entry of AA, where the Mask ID would normally be.

Your going to need to look at it with a different editor to see what it is. ie an editor that doesn't verify the mask before it opens the file for reading.

Be very careful that once you do open it, that ALL the parameters match up. Close doesn't work when doing stuff like this.

If I don't know the particulars of a .bin, memcal, I just toss it. It's too easy to have the unknown bite you, on stuff like this.

Thanks for the reply. My first thought was to erase the prom and write a new program. Just thought I'd see what was on the prom for the heck of it.
