Anyone have a .ecu file for this ecm?

I'd like to use it to just control timing (if possible). I know the harness has a map sensor (as well as tps and other things) so if there is an rpm vs tps table I can control timing there, and turn off everything else.

??

..and no this isn't for my car.

If something exists, nobody wants to let it out, or doesn't think anybody would want it! I have asked the same thing before, and nothing has turned up. I have dug a little bit, and nothing. I know there has to be something out there, some companies had sold aftermarket chips for them, so it is NOT impossible, just most likely impractical. I'm thinking about doing the '747, or '730 to run just timing, and a standard, non-CC carb to get me by until I get stuff ready for EFI. That's the only solution I have had suggested to me.....

Oh, this would be for MY car.....

My thought's exactly. If it would be worth it, I'm sure the code can be disassembled and figured out like the EFI stuff has, but there just aren't that many that would have much use for it. (Other than you and I! )

If you are still interested then go here https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=240304

and create a bin for the 83. Send me a copy at johnegoodman@hotmail.com and I will work on creating a table file.
