just wondering if anyone can explain
If i monitor the aldl port with winaldl, the O2 sensor shows 0.451 Volts BUT every 16th packet (1228746-160Baud) which equals 19-20Secs it leaps up to 0.65V for 1 packet then drops back down.
This is with the ignition switched on but with the engine stopped and before it has been warmed up.
JUst curious.....

Take a look at the screenshot, that little blip up above .450 happens often and it chunks of 4, then a slightly longer pause, then 4 again, etc. This happens on my test bench when the o2 sensor circuit isn't hooked up. One reason might be to keep the code happy when the sensor fails. This would keep the BLMs at 128. Another reason might be to keep the ecm from throughing a code, or it's a floating source, or... I just don't know
. Good question!
