Open Loop Question

I bracket race my car and it has a pretty well built smallblock. I am running a 7730 with a TPI intake. I am running open loop only, with the closed loop enable temperature set to maximum value. I removed the entire exhaust system to run open headers. will a lack-of O2 sensor effect my open loop operation in any way?

Thanks, ED

As long as the ECM has been reset (battery dance) so the BLMs are all 128 then no, no affect. Need the BLMs at 128 so that no previously learned info is used.
