Fun 101
As I mentioned, went to the Buick Nationals.
I threw the Innovative WB in the truck, with a universal tailpipe mount, just for grins.
Well, got to the track and had the notion about helping out some guys I knew, by offering to hook up the WB and let them do a 90' run, to get an idea of where they were on fuel.
Out of 6+ cars, 2 needed to go noticeably richer, and one was just out of fuel. The 2 just needed the switches set higher on the Translators, and one they added a 7th injector.
Climbing in and out of the cages was a, PITB, but hey, rides in 10 sec cars more then makes up for that hassle.
90dF, and +90%, seemed like 10.5 to 11.3 were happy AFRs.
They got a little free info., and I got to do some data gathering.
Push the adrenalie rush was on their gas, and tires.
Alot of this tuning stuff is about exposure, talking to the guys that run fast, and guys that really know this stuff. Not to mention face to face conversations are much better at explaining concepts,etc..
Also, made some big progress on the 60 Source Code.
Here's a video on one of the V6s in action.
Owner says it has a cam, bigger turbo, and running about 24 PSI.

Meet em last year, I was sitting in a Golf Cart, just looking at his car, admiring it. It's really a work of art, and this guy comes over, and we start talking.. About an hour later, I mention what a clean GN we were parked behind, and he goes, ya the wife keeps it clean and I just drive it. Kind of a character.
Oddly enough, that car probably could idle around for a day, and not load up the plugs, like some of the other cars.
Seems scarey to run up that hard against the stutter box, but the times shows it works.
