Terrible time getting AFRTuner to work!

To TRAXION or anyone else that can help. I am going to the dyno in a little less than a week. I have been trying to get AFR Tuner to work on 2 of my computers. So Far, my main desktop PC won't run the program. It still gives me a run time error even after the install instructions were followed. Its a win XP Pro machine with more than enough power to run this program.

My new laptop will not run it either. Its giving me run time errors because its looking for other .ocx files that aren't even in the Computer yet. (But, this laptop is about 2 years old and was used by my grandfather extensively before he passed away here last year right before the holidays.)

Any suggestions? Just accumulate all the .ocx files it asks for and regserv them?

when you downloaded AFRTuner in the zip file it should of had COMDLG32.OCX and a readme file did you read the readme file.

if not do this
1) Copy the file called comdlg32.ocx (in the zip file) to your "c:\windows\system32" folder.
2) Under the Start Menu choose 'Run' and then enter the following line:
Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx
3) Now run AFRTuner.exe again.

if you downloaded and it didn't have the file I do have it so let me know.

Yes I followed the instructions to a T!

However, the instructions are written incorrectly. The second .ocx file has the incorrect regserv command. Look closely at it. You'll see that it says somthing like regserv C:\windows\system\mhflgrd.ocx when its actuallt somthing like mhfgrd.ocx..

GTG, have a satellite radio install to do.

Question, albeit very stupid... , do you need to have any datalogging programs or anything else running to make this AFRTuner v1.0 work? If not, I can tell my dyno experience on Monday is gonna be very disappointing.

I found that the msflxgrd.ocx file in the .zip file is the incorrect one. I luckily had a copy of it in another directory on another drive that I copied over and re-verified it or whatever. Now it works flawless. TRAXION, this program is so simple in theory and so complex in the making yet so awesome that it even exists!! I bet the 4th gen boys are a little jealous.
