tuning in open loop questions w/ WB

I am tuning in openloop with my WB. I am getting very close to having all of the ve tables done with darn near 14.7 afr every where. Then I noticed the two tables below.

The question I have should I zero out the

OPEN LOOP % change afr vs MAP table?

Also,

Sould I zero out the

OPEN LOOP % change afr vs TEMP

say from 56*C up?

So that I get a better dead on 14.7 AFR.

vs. TEMP: would have to get zeroed out at some point say 56C as you said, this would only apply if you want to use 14.7 as your set point and base all other changes off of it. This approach makes the most sense to me, because you have a way to figure out how much to add when your datalogging with the wideband, etc........ U know where u are, whick lets u know how much to add to get to where u need to be.

vs. MAP: Im not quite sure here... from what I can gather by the code(not my strong suite) and using/datalogging the car along with the wideband tagging along, it appears as if vs. MAP is used for high loads when cold moreso than anything(yes i know its there anytime in open loop). When cold is when u need it richest, less timing, etc... May have to take it out of the vs. MAP and add it to the vs. temp to cover some of it and A/E vs. coolant tables would need some work too i would imagine...

These are just my thoughts as I am seriously interested in giving open loop a try(liked results first attempy) and want my first open loop bin to be setup in a way that i think will suit my car for use as a base .bin

later

I was just about to make a new post when a search revealed this old one...

Has anybody spent time tuning OL with operating temps zeroed out? How about MAP? If you add VE + PE Coolant + PE RPM + OL Coolant + OL Map, you end up with theoreticaly MASSIVLY rich OL WOT numbers, somewhere well under 10:1. What are other OL tuners doing about this?

I do my open loop tuning leaving by making the WB reading match the commanded AFR. If the commanded AFR is 10:1 and the engine is at operating temperature, then I change the commanded AFR.
