no torque with 749?

I would like to know if anyone can point me in the right area to look.

see what happened was my car was a 165 (maf) setup I then switched to 730 to make sure it would handle the map system. I then repinned it some more and used the 749/$58 code .

now the way it ran before all this swaping was I could be going 35-40 mph 2nd gear and just stomp on it and the tires would go up in smoke. now when I smash the pedal it just takes off smooth (some light tire spinning almost none) and as boost fully builds it really starts moving.

(PLEASE Read all of this! before replying)
it is a sbc400 forged pistions-10:1 with 58cc heads, TPI w/slp runners ,88 305 tpi heads, slp 480/487 112 cam, 1 3/4 slp headers, slp catback, walbro 255 lph w/hotwire kit, WAS 24# inj. first few tests now 42# inj. still same responce WAS 24# inj. first few tests now 42# inj. still same responce I have a powerdyne BD-10(11 impeller bla bla) S/C I put on there all custom running 5psi

I have also installed 2 degree colder plugs because I had a slight knock count in the higher rpms. I plan to pull out 2 degrees of advance as the ecm pulled 1 degree and that was all it took

I have a hunting idle as well when I let it idle too long but, I will have to deal with that later. this puzzles me more

I forgot to add that I am thinking it is due to the lack of wot spark advance before propper boost is built. and if I give it the same rate the 165 had how will I change the spark vs map psi? right now it looks like it removes very little

Was it running really well with the 730?.
If so then use the same timing table as the 730 intially. Fill out the 20-100 K/Pa in the 58 with the same values.

Make sure you have the ref/initial timing, max timing, and max retard's set right.

Might disable the premium fuel, and PE spark stuff just to eliminate some variables.

I generally work most on the light throttle stuff before I do any WOT tuning, as difficult as it is not to wach the throttle open.

I am going through the tables and comparing everything I can and well now I am all

with so many this this diff. why does it even run as well as it does?

the 8d calls a few things differant like base timming vs (58- spark angle ref.)

any one here running the 749 on even a 350 tpi? so I can take a peek at what you have changed?
