$6E fuel tuning

I've searched through the posts on this subject and have seen several different methods. The most predominate one seems to be altering the injector constant and then messing with the MAF tables. I've also read that this can cause trouble down the road.

Is this the correct thing to do or is there another method. I've looked in the $32B and seen the BPW vs RPM vs LV8 table but noticed that it's not in the $6E. So, is the above method the best way to tune?? If you know, please reply as I'll be tuning a friends car tomorow.

Thanks

If you are talking about part throttle cruise only, then the above way is correct. If you are tuning wide open throttle, then you will need to use the pe vs rpm table to richen or lean it up in pe mode. Playing with the maf tables will not cause any problems down the road as long as the tune is correct. Just datalog and change the tables at the locations that are lean or rich. Idle is the most difficult to tune as 128 blm makes the nose burn from the fumes, so pick a point that you can live with, usually a little leaner, and go with it. good luck
