This Maybe a Dumb Question

I have a 1984 Pontiac firbird, With a computer contolled carb; Whats does the computer control, and is there any tuneabiltiy in this setup besudes jetting changes?

Yes.

Get Doug Roe's Book about the Quadrajet, and you can find out how to make the internal mods to the carb to make it a sweetheart. The instruction booklet for the ZZZ GM retrofit into the F Bodies gives all the ship, ecm, Knock sensor, module part no for the best bolt together prom updates, that I know of.
