MAP ECM Tuning (I need some opinions)
Hey guys,
All of you with MAP tables I was curious on something..
Since the kPA and RPM values and not completely consecutive
eg. $8d calbration
rpm 400-1600 in 100 rpm Increments then 1600- 5600 in 400 rpm increments.
MAP 20-60 in 5 kPA then 60 to 100 in 10s
second table is 20-100 in 10s
So if you have a scanned value of 65kPA at 2600RPM do you not use it or do you apply it to the closest kPA and RPM?
or if it was 65kPA and 2400rpm what do you do then?
I am just trying to see the different styles that work for each other.
My main reason for asking is that I have been working on a program to crunch the data from my scan files. Since VEMASTER will not work with EASE file I made my own.
I have been using it and it seems to get the very close in a few passes. One nice thing is on a nice long file to get a new set of tables the program runs for about 2-3 minutes..
