constants/tables affecting AFR
Robert Rauscher did a really helpful write up on constants and tables that affect SA, knock retard, and their interaction and logic. Is there a similar write up somewhere on the constants and tables that affect AFR and their interaction? Being new to this, I have a number of questions that such a write up would probably answer. In the meantime....
1) Apparently, you are still in closed loop when you go into PE, and the BLM is still enabled. This raises obvious conflicts that I don't have answers to. Can someone help? Surely the BLM table does not change while in PE?
2) How can you tell for sure you are in PE? There is an RPM threshold and a temperature threshold, and a table of TPS vs
RPM at which it goes into PE. Is that all there is to it? It can't be that simple, right?
I am using the '747 ECM. Thanks in advance for your help. Give me some time, and I'll help you answer your questions
