USB Question

Ok I do my data logging with a old Toshiba Portege 486 with 24mb or ram, I know it is slow but it Works with out a hitch and I only paid $35 and it came with 2 batterys and Auto power supply. Well it does work well with the 2 transistor cable I made, and works well with Craigs software and Marks, But I have a Flash N' Burn (untill I can afford AutoProm) and would like to hook it to the Laptop but the laptop so I don't have to keep going in the house to my DELL to burn a Prom. But th laptop only has Serial and parallel ports, but Has 2 slots for a Type II PCMCIA Cards. Has anyone used a PCMCIA USB card with autoprom or flash N' burn, do you see any reason that it wouldn't work, I figure that it would be alot more stable that a Serial to USB.

Thanks

Yes. Contact Craig. He's got one he can sell you pretty cheap that is known to work with both the AutoProm and FnB.

Yep, I've got some. $20 apiece should cover it. I'll need to get some more...
