tweaking accell enrich with MAF
I'm working on tweaking the accell enrich on my MAF 165 ecm and with the miniram and a 6 spd it is proving to be a bit of a pain. I need to take a little fuel out on very light accell, like in a parking lot, and need to take some out during very heavy accell(not quite WOT although that is rich also).
Now my question is this, I'm using TunerPro Rt and what is the difference between these two tables:
Accel. Enrich %BPW Factor vs. Async Pulse
Acceleration Enrichment factor vs. change in LV8
Any info on these tables would be great.

So AE as a function of LV8, is GM's way of doing AE as a function of increasing/changing, airflow.

OK that makes sense. So then there's this other table (Accel. Enrich %BPW Factor vs. Async Pulse) that looks like it does the same thing. But I figure they have to be different on some critical point. What triggers a "pulse" in accell enrich and what triggs how many pulses?

There are several tables and constants that make AE work. They all are used togethor. The BPW of the AE event is based on the LV8 multiplier tables, as well as the asynch tables. Once you have AE triggered, via the constants mainly, then all these tables come in to multiply and affect the amount of extra fuel that gets added.
IE you may have 24 pulses set at 80degC, then the factor for the first 8 pulses gets multiplied by the coolant table, then you have LV8 tables....all this stuff just basically comes in to create the AE pules width. It doesnt last long, and it is fixed at 12.5mS intervals.
You just need to look at all the AE tables and constants on 1 sheet of paper, and it should all make sense.

Mr. Moderator: Would you please add this post to the 165 ECM tuning articles section. Thanks!!!!!!
