Thinking about getting into prom burning and was wondering if the stuff i chose on moates.net will work with my 91 camaro APU1 AutoProm Package: USB Version
GP3 Switcher Adapter with ZIF and Chip
GP1 Package: GM Adapter with 2 chips
Whats the differnce between the adapters ? From what i read i guess with the Gp3 u run 2 chips and it has a switch so u can choose which one to use correct me if im wrong.
Also is this the right prom for my car ? C1 Atmel AT29C256 Chip

The other stuff will work, but you dont need the GP3 if you are getting the Autoprom, then you can switch program easy from the laptop.
In the GP3 you can run a "bigger" PROM with multiple programs on same Prom.
The Atmel AT29C256 is the correct chip. If you going to use GP3 you should buy "bigger" EPROMs to use the multiple function...

Yep to all he said. With the AP you won't need or use the switcher adapter (don't need it with the Ostrich, either).
If you leave the Autoprom plugged in all the time, you won't need the 2 chips, either - but I'd get them anyway so you can burn in the image from the Autoprom and run just a chip (and not have to leave the Autoprom connected for ever and ever)
Craig definitely makes top shelf stuff (others do too) and his after sales support is excellent as well! (So is Mark's software support of them with TunerPro_ RT, etc.). Both are Great Dudes!!!!!
