Data logging

I'm having problems data logging using tunerpro rt and the auto prom. i got it to connect using com 3 but it doesn't produce any data. After that i changed the interface to auto prom and it won't connect. What am i doin wrong ? Also what is the packet error count ??? I have the horizontal switch away from the usb connector and i have the vertical switch all the way up.

If the horizontal switch is away from the USB port, you'll want to set TunerPro RT to use the "MAX232" interface type.

I don't believe you need the 10k for your '91, so you can place the vertical switch in the middle position.

You'll need to load the 1227730.ads file.

Additionally, you'll need to confirm which port the AutoProm is utilizing (COM3 or COM4 usually). You can confirm by looking in the device manager (for notes, look here:

http://www.moates.net/documentation....7f9f83ee102283

After that's all set up, click the "connect to ECM" button until it connects (for the 7730, it shoud connect on the first or second try).

Did you select the file to record to before hitting record?
