Single Fire Double Fire 6E?

What is the difference? Running 24lb. injectors. Do I need to match the numbers or do something different?

Set 'em both the same, just to be safe.

Double fire means the injector fires twice per cylinder firing. (i.e. normal mode of operation for a batch fire/4-stroke engine).

Single fire means the injector fires only once per cylinder firing. Perhaps one of the '165 experts can chime in and explain what (if any) circumstances might trigger single fire mode.
