Converting to SD ECM
Converting to SD ECM
I just got a 16198262 ECM. It says this on the ECM "Remanufactured by GM Corp. Service No. 16198262". Anyway I got this ECM so I can go to Speed Density.
Now, I've programmed using the old ARAP.bin file for 1227165, but I am new to SD. I've got Tunerpro, and was wondering what BIN file goes with their Super_8dm2.ecu definition. Or if anyone has a better suggestion for bin/ecu, I'm open to it.
Thanks

Try AUJP or Traxion's S_AUJP. I've been using the latter with good success on my SD conversion for some time now.

The AUJP is for an automatic 4 speed trans. If you have a manual its probly not the best to start with. If you do have auto, it's an excellent starting point although some have seen there is too much timing for thier combo and backed it off a bit. Ran it on my L98 w/ iron 1.94 heads and it ran very well. Good luck.
