Burn1 software bug? Or just me.
I don't own one but a friend has one and we were trying to burn an offset onto an AT29C256 and it just wasn't having it. No matter where we told the burner to start it would burn it at 0000. Kind of frustrating that it asks but ignores you
. Or am I the only one? Could somebody try burning a 4k bin to an offset of like 3FFF and verify that it's placed in the correct block. I'd appreciate it and if you get it to work could you tell me exactly how you did it. My Pocket Programmer doesn't have any troubles.

I have burned many AT29C256 with offsets with no problems using the Burn1. There was nothing special that I had to do, it worked the first time and has been working since.

Contact Craig and make sure you have the latest build of the software. Also note that an offset of 3FFF will not work on a 29C256 (with your PP2, either). There are 64 byte alignment rules that must be followed. The Burn1 software should give you an error if you try to burn to an invalid offset.
