Strange: idle target at 800 on '730 regardless of settings...
Title says it all. I tried changing the table to alter the target idle -vs- CTS, and on the datalog I still see 875 (cold) to 800 (warm) idle target. The IAC steps are targeting the 800, and they blow right by the desired idle (via table) of 1000-1200.
Anyone know of issues like this? I tried it with straight TunerCat and TunerPro definitions, with stock AUJP starting point as well as some others. I can pass my file to someone that has a testbench if needed, just looking for some guidance.

I'm having a similar issue to what Craig is having with my $6E 165 ECM. I user TunerPro 3.xx to set desired idle at about 850 I think. (pretty choppy 228*/234* cam) The car just blows right by it AFTER it goes closed loop. In Open loop it'll stick around 950 when its warming up. When it reaches cosed loop it'll go to 1400 in park/neutral and 1000 in gear. Anyone have any ideas?
My thoughts are that I either need to check for an intake leak OR it could be a function of the IAC commanded steps vs CTS etc. and that just changing target idle speed without changing corresponding IAC vs CTS values to be more in line wouldn't help anyting at all.
I was toying with the idea of trying to write the IAC out of the equation almost entirely as it was an idea I had seen by another member who posted here.
