You need 4 pulses per rev that will equal out to 4000 pulses per mile.
Look into a site called "jags that run" (without spaces)
Google it and there should be something there that will work.
Most of them are less than $100 but you need to change the gears to match your setup. They have a whole listing of what gears for what trans, rear and tire size.
they are very helpful too if you call.

They are getting expensive. I paid $69 for mine.http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...get=emain.asp&

search for speed sensor

As for the 8 pulse version. Well I never knew it but now i know i have one sitting in my parking space.

LINK
Here's the link to the pdf info file on the site.
Very detailed and shows the different styles so you can find out at least what you should be looking for.
http://www.jagsthatrun.com/V8-chapte...ed-Sensors.pdf

I am using the "4PAC" cause I have a cable driven speedo and still needed the pulse output.

Then you can go to the price list page and see how much they sell them for. If you can't get back to the page then heres that link too.
https://shell7.tdl.com/~jags/SpeedSensors_Order.html

Not trying to advertise for them but they were super helpful and I've had no problems with the unit I bought.
