prom id?
prom id?
i was looking over my tunercat constants and find a "prom id" ?
i have a 7747 $42. i am using a 2732 chip(of course). the "id" in TC constants is 2372? i did a search and found prom id mentioned but limited to HEX. where is there a list of prom id's? what is a prom id? is 2372 in fact correct?

From what I've been told, that's a comment field that you can put any hex value you want into that might help you remember which bin or version of a chip this one is.
That was from either Mangus (creator of TunerPro) or Craig Moates, can't say for sure. So I use it with just a unique value for each BIN. WHat's in there doesn't affect how the chip or car works/runsh
