Stopping forced knock test on 8063.

Ive been trying to do some tuning on my motor but haven't been able to get alot done due to Code 43 popping up every tunning run I try to make and it kills my performance. On my 8063.ecu file im using there are three constants that I think have to do with the "forced knock test".

Knock mph threshold-which is at 10mph
Knock rpm threshold-which is at 1000rpm
knock cts threshold-which is at 54 degrees C

If I where to bump the mph threshold up to 255 mph or so would that disable the forced knock test???

That isn't the knock test, that's for knock retard. It'll still pickup the knock but below those thresholds it won't retard the timing.
Take a look at the patch for the 8746 that disabled the forced knock test. It works and the code is very similar.

Yeah, so learn it . I don't have your ecm, if I did, I'd help. So it's up to you if you if you want to patch it or swap to a different ecm.
