I some how lost my stock image. I downloaded one from moates, but I don't think its right

Tons of .bin files on there. You're going to want to know the broadcast code of what you're looking for though. I know a 8746 TBI Manual trans .bin is AXKW

I have a ANTT bin from my oem/stock chip.. also compared it to one i found online and they are the same.... [was doing a few test with my autoprom] email me (mike@yager.net) if you need it...

?To answer your question, you have a rom image open. The rom image of the 8746 is the code that's stored on the computer and NOT in the eprom. There is 8kb of rom that is almost exclusively code for the processor to understand what's going on and to do some slightly complicated routines that aren't built into the processor. The eprom holds only 4kb. Open up a 4kb bin and it'll work.
