minimum %TPS enable PE

I have my minimum %TPS to enable PE set at 55%, but it appears on my logs that I'm entering PE at about 43% TPS ( timing jumps up, blm's hit 128). My minimum LV8 to enter PE is set at 50. Why is this happening?

Are you sure you aren't hitting 50 LV8 with 43% TPS?

My MAF stuff is limited, but on the 6E it looks like it might be LV8 or %TPS to enter PE. That sort of makes sense with what you're seeing. Might just toss a few lower entry values in there and note what happens.

Thanks guys, I'll try that. I thought it would have to be both 50 LV8 AND 55% TPS.

Interestingly enough, the stock AKFN bin is set at 20 LV8 to enable PE. The thing that kind of confuses me, though, is that I'm far beyond 20, or even 130 before PE kicks in.

What is AKFN from? I don't have it on file.
All of the $6E stock bins I've got (12 of them) all have 50 set as the min Lv8.

Is it possible that your ads file calibration for TPS is incorrect? Just because your log says 43% doesn't mean that the ECU is not reading as 50%.

Do like Grumpy said, try some other values, higher and lower. If you change 5% and the log shows 5% change, I would say your ALDL definition file is offset or scaled incorrectly
