Difference between APYU and ARAP?

Difference between APYU and ARAP?
What are the differences between the APYU and the ARAP code?

From what I could understand, the ARAP bin is a stock corvette bin, and the APYU is the stock trans am bin. There are differences in spark advance, MAF tables... pretty much anything fuel or spark related.
