Kock count cycling
I was wondering if any one has ever seen knock cycle i am using Datamaster datalogging software and my knock count is going form 0 to 253 then starting over i unplugged the knock sensor and it still does the same thing the only code i am am reciving is a cylinder sel error i think i was code 41 and i figured it was because i was using an ostrich with the g-1 mem adapter using tunercat software
here is the part that you will love me or hate me my application is a 1995 ford ranger with a SD 383 Tpi i am running a 52mm throttle body and 36lbs injectors with a 206@.50-.501 lift factory iron heads with 1.6 and 1.9 valves at a 10.5:1 comp I am running all new wiring and sensors the onlt things that is used is my ECM and IAC any help is greatly apper.

The knock count should reset after 255. The knock count is a 8 bit number so it can only be 0-255. After you unplug the knock sensor you should not be still getting knock counts.

Nope i forgot about that i got in a hurry and just put the G1 in and plugged the ostrich in and called it good i will put it in top night and see what happens thanks
