confused on equipment needed

Engine: 383 Converted LT1 intake
Transmission: TH350 3500 stall
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt 3.73's
confused on equipment needed
I have a 88 transam that i need to tune and not sure on everything i need if i use the prominator.I think i just need the prominator and then tunercat to do the editing.Is there something else i need.I have a 2000 transam and it seems so much easier and thats why i am confused.

well it varies for each ecm...but i would check out the sticky w/ grumpy's traxion's and others threads traxions especially has alot of info on different routes u can take.

See Ch 9 in the stickies.
I didn't see it, But if you have USB,
Then at Moates.net look at the Burn1 and ALDL1 with the associated cable to go to USB.
And an adapter with chips and a zif.
Craig put which ecm they work with in the discription.
Download TP.
Then figure out how to use it all
