Having Some Sucess !!! Thanks and more progress to come..
THANKS !!! To all who take the time to post answers to everyones questions and to help newbies like myself come up to speed...
I got the main harness from my donor 1990 camaro shortened up and inthe jeep. I also decided to dump the jeep fuse block for the newer blade style blockfrom the camero, i remaped all the circuits to the camaro block and added some length to it so i can mount if behind the dash for easier access..
Last weekend I started doing my basic harness check out, (lights, blinkers. brakes etc..) all running off the new fuse block..
Today I got to testing out the ECM..
Started with the original prom. Got a Code 12 (normal) and 53 Vatts as expected...
Burned a chip to remove vatts and also disable EGR. WORKS!!!
Just tested the emulation stuff... Hey that works too !!!
Let the fun begin !!! Need to get my fuel system plumbed and actually fire the heep... Got to finish up some motor work also..
Starting to come together in my head... Let the fun stuff begin...
Q) Can i pull the ALDL feeds in real time rather than the aldl stream ? Seems like if i could read it off there i'd be easier than trying to do both...
