(2) new best @ MIR, 10.20 @ 133 some prom relation.

Well since I have been getting the bone this whole season racing with work, weather, commitments and such I decided Sat. evening to drive 6 hours to Buds Creek maryland (MIR) in the rain on the DC beltway in my trans am....
(If you have ever driven on this, you feel my pain or fright)
Raced all today and drove home this evening just arriving, Got stuck on beltway in College traffic and Redskins traffic for 2 hours at 5 mph - Soo, is it a street car? I think so.

Anyway First pass got me new best 60ft and ET with 10.893 over previous 10.897 @ 123.5 with a new best 1.43 60 ft on stock 7.5" rear still after all these years.
Second pass 10.92 with a 1.42 60 ft. Both passes way overshifted first due to trans not reacting quickly (since rebuild that I should have never done)

Then I figured I would spray it w/150 shot, been putting it off for years but it was inevitable.
Used tcc out put to control N20 activation, Set max timing to 30*
and enabled to activate @ 25 mph.
Well it hit hard just as wheels were landing from launch and the hit limiter in first (Shifted @ 6000 -trans shifted on limiter @ 7000) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Then caused it to drop off in second due to limiter, then felt rear strong on third.

10.2 @ 133 w/ 1.38 60ft, then drove it home..

Also: car averaged 18 mpg, that was through west virginia hills and stopped traffic on beltway. with out use of my Torque converter lock.

Here is a pic a very nice man took of my second N/A run and mailed to me..

Wow, you pulled out the juice! Did you run a dry shot? So you just set the TCC tables to lockup from xx mph and up, heh? Could you go into more detail? I convinced a good friend to let me tune his car with a dry shot (730 ECM). It ran ok and then I was looking at injector DC....it was 146%. Had to stop the testing right there. What size injectors do you have and what is the DC (on and off the bottle).

....I have a big bottle that is going on the formula.

BTW, that is some good n/a runs!!!

Thanks Tim and Grumpy!
It was a wet plate that I bought used and used remaining parts from a old Carb cheater.
Set TCC force lock table to 25 mph and used a throttle switch as well. I plan to make it a dry someday, maybe this winter.
LOL, Watch that 156 dc opps.

Wish it had gone 9s on that pass, but only had one pass to make it happen. Also wish DA had been better and I did not have to leave as early.
There was also a head wind seen in photo--
I was really hoping to get some sea level air and hit 10.7/6's natural then spray for a 9..
But I must say, that track hooks like no tomorrow..
That photo was the second n/a run.

Thats just wrong on so many levels. You drove how many hours to the track? yanked the front wheels on a 7.5" rear end, almost ran 9's then drove home.........you my good man are amazing!

Thanks BMmonteSS,
Hope I can get back to track before season end and hit a 9, That is my goal on the stock rear. I may try letting it come on at 15 MPH or so.
