Emissions ??

Hi people. New to this part of "the game", so bear with me. My question is what exactly is effected if I remove the air pump and delete emissions from my prom. We have a sniffer test here with no visual inspection and I'm wondering if this will effect my ability to pass a drive clean test? What exactly does the emissions portion of my prom control? Thanks for your help. Sh-t! My bad. Its all there in the stickies! Sorry! OK OK I've read through most of all the emissions related stickies. In the real world, my vortec headed, stock cammed L98, if I remove the air pump should I be modifying the prom or not??

Should change the air pump divert enable temperature. You want it so it is always in divert mode.
