Newb needs bin recommendation
Just like the title says. I have the 7165 ecm and have a few choices concerning which bin to use. I'm runing a 350 with a t5 and a HSR. Should i use the corvette bin or would that cause problems? The reason I'm am asking and discontinued my searching efforts is because the 350's were with the 700r4's and not a t5 like I have.

What u ask has been pounded to death.
165 will be using the 32B or $6E stuff as far as the actual def file is concerned.
Do a search for 165, manual trans, trans swap and the like.
Best bet is too match the bin to what is most like yours from the factory.
I would have to say transfer tables from a 350 bin inot a 305/5spd version or you may want to investigate some of the vette stuff and the 6 spd bins. ALthough watch the timing tables on the ARAP(auto 350) and the vette bins as they tend to push it pretty hard for a cast iron headed engine(vette were alum)
Lot of good beginner info up in the "Tuning Guide" up top to get u started and some judicious searching should net u the rest.

Thanks for the info. But how do you tell whichbin is for which car? For example, I'm seeing ARAP, ACVS, AJUL, apkd, APYP etc... How do you determine which are for a 305 maf tpi manual and a 350 maf tpi automatic?

U can run the four letter codes you come across at several places on the net(linked to the sticky above) or u can search for them here to see what type of questions have been asked about them and will usually reveal what it was used in.
Also there is an entire page here, again linked thru the sticky above that lists all the known 82-92 broadcast codes for the f-bodies, both birdies and camaros.
Moates.net(again linked thru sticky) also has quite a collection going as well.

ARAP is an '89 vette, auto trans.
APYP is an '89 vette, manual trans. <----HINT!
Why does your '92 have a '165 in it?
